Waiting until Sale A Bration starts to get the ball rolling on orders will definitely slow down your momentum.
Make sure you are using your time now to plan, design and market your classes and kits.
Kits....trust me these are the future of your business, and we are going to help you get started!
Below are 3 cards that would make for a great class or kit to offer
You may have seen these cards floating around on blogs and Pinterest, and here is one little secret to hold onto:
there is absolutely NO VALUE in the card
don't be shy to "case", there is no profitability in being original.
the value of cards, kits, and classes comes in the marketing of these projects
decide what you are going to sell and then choose projects that support the sale

for this kit we choose to focus on the Hearts a Flutter bundle and More Amore DSP, which comes to 49.90
I then give my customers an option of adding on a stamp pad, dimensionals or roll of ribbon
this takes them over $50 and they will get the Vintage Verses Stamp Set free

I can offer this as a class
I can offer this as a private class
I can offer this kit on my blog
I can include the pdf free to my customers
I can sell the pdf to demos who want the info but not the product
I can include an "add on" of cardstock, stamp pads, texture plates....a way for them to get to $100 and then choose another SAB item of their choice.
This works because:
1) it makes buying easy
2) customers see the value in buying the kit because they can make a variety
3) demos can focus on one kit which means you don't need to order "everything"
AND
if you are a demo and you are cutting cardstock, splitting up rolls of ribbon, doling out embellishments and packaging up bits and pieces for your kits AND not charging for those services you are shooting yourself in the foot.
Your time has great value
Your new downline are not going to be intrigued by all that work
Stampin'Up! does a beautiful job of packaging items already, don't step on that. You would have to have items delivered to you, re-package and send it out.
That means inventory, which is a no no
And it means shipping twice, if I was a customer I wouldn't dig that
And as a demo if you are eating the cost of shipping and the prep time cost, you can't possibly be happy with your pay per hour.
stick with us, re-think your sales approach, and let's make some money in 2013!
